September 2011 Sunday 11th 9.00 am	RSPB Titchwell. Our favourite reserve for migrants, waders, ducks and geese, bacon sandwiches and the big hide. Meet in the car park TF750436. Bring lunch or use the Feeding Station.
October 2011 Sunday 9th 10.00 am	Rutland Water, Leics.& Rutland WT/Anglian Water. A bit further afield today and a large area to cover. Lots of bird hides and various trails. Meet at Egleton Birdwatching Centre, OS map 141, SK866676. Bring lunch or eat in cafe. Entrance fee to reserve.
November 2011 Saturday 12th 9.00 am	Heacham South Beach. A morning walk along Heacham Harbour and beach for wildfowl and winter waders. Meet at car park (limited facilities) TF663369. Afternoon at Abbey Farm, Flitcham, for geese, tree sparrow and little owl. TF737266. Bring lunch if staying all day.
December 2011 Sunday 11th 10.00 am	RSPB Fen Drayton Lakes, Cambs. Part of the Hanson-RSPB Wetland Project on the outskirts of Cambridge, with extensive gravel pits for wildfowl, waders etc. Bring lunch, but note there are no hides or facilities here. Meet in car park TL339691. Access is off A14, J28, or from Swavesey.
January 2012 Sunday 8th 8.00 am Start	Annual Bird Race. Start and finish from Knights Hill, Farmers Arms pub, King’s Lynn. Enter or join a team and have a great day out birding in the New Year — good luck! Please hand in Team Tick List by 4.30pm in the bar. TF667229.
January 2012 Sunday 22nd 10.00 am	RSPB Buckenham & Cantley Marshes. Part of the RSPB Mid-Yare Valley reserves and a good place for ducks and geese, including bean. Corvid roost worth a look at dusk. Meet at Buckenham railway station car park TG351057. Facilities at nearby RSPB Strumpshaw Fen.
February 2012 Saturday 11th 9.00 am	RSPB Snettisham. Meet in car park TF653330, explore the pits during the morning and have a look at the Coastal Park/Ken Hill marsh in the afternoon. No facilities here; bring lunch if staying all day.
March 2012 Sunday 11th 9.00 am	NT Felbrigg Park. We will be looking for lesser spotted woodpecker and other woodland species. Meet in car park (charge), facilities and café available. TG193394.
April 2012 Saturday 7th 9.00 am	Courtyard Farm. An Easter morning walk around the farm paths for birds, insects and wild flowers. Meet at farm car park TF731398. No facilities at site.
May 2012 Sunday 13th 4.00 am 11.00 am - 4.00 pm	Dawn Chorus at NWT Foulden Common. It really is worth getting up so early! Meet at the small pull-off on the road out of Oxborough TF764000. SWT Lackford Lakes, Suffolk. Former gravel pits, now a nature reserve of wetland, woodland, scrub and heath. Visitor centre and nine hides to explore. Bittern and kingfisher regular sightings, possible nightingale and little ringed plover. Bring lunch, or facilities in centre. OS Explorer 229, grid ref. 798705.
May 2011 Wednesday 25th 8.30 pm	Annual Nightjar & Midge Fest. NE Dersingham Bog. Meet at Wolferton parking area TF663284, and don’t forget a hat and the insect repellent.
June 2011 Friday 10th 8.30 pm	RSPB Lakenheath, Suffolk. The site for golden oriole, crane, hobby etc. On to NWT Weeting for stone curlew and spotted flycatcher in afternoon (entry fee). Bring lunch and meet in RSPB reserve car park TF724866. Facilities at both sites.
July 2011 Saturday 7th 10.00 am	Natural England Raptor Watch Point at Swanton Novers, TG010302. Honey buzzard, common buzzard, hobby, kestrel, swift and swallow. Gateley/Gt.Ryburgh watch point later TF970255. No facilities and bring lunch.
August 2011 Saturday 12th 9.00 am	NWT Roydon Common. A morning walk over the common and along the old railway track for insects and butterflies. Park along the track off the Roydon Road TF679228.
